Stellantis, Wayve and Uber Announce Partnership to Develop Robotaxi Services

Date:

Stellantis, Wayve, and Uber have announced a strategic collaboration to develop and deploy Level 4 driverless mobility services.

Under the partnership, Stellantis will supply its L4-Ready Platforms production vehicles engineered to accommodate autonomous driving systems, while Wayve contributes its advanced AI Driver technology. Uber will provide its global mobility network and operational expertise in ride-hailing logistics.

The companies said the partnership is intended to accelerate future robotaxi deployment globally. The collaboration builds on existing bilateral relationships between the companies and reflects a growing industry consensus that efficient scaling of autonomous mobility requires a multi-company ecosystem approach.

Stellantis is one of the world's largest automakers, producing vehicles across fourteen brands. Wayve is a British AI company specialising in autonomous driving technology, while Uber operates one of the largest mobility platforms globally.

The companies did not disclose launch markets, deployment dates or financial terms.
