Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan put aside past differences to celebrate a major milestone together: their son Jack Brady's high school graduation. The former couple reunited for the ceremony, marking a rare public appearance together nearly two decades after their split.
Tom Brady, 48, shared an emotional tribute on social media, calling it "one of the proudest days of my life, watching Jack walk across the stage, and graduate into the next chapter of what's already an impressive life." The seven-time Super Bowl champion posted a carousel of photos from the celebration, including group shots of the extended family.
Jack, 18, is the son Brady shared with actress Bridget Moynahan. The couple dated from 2004 to 2006, and Moynahan announced her pregnancy shortly after their breakup. Despite the timing, both parents have consistently prioritized their son's well-being, building a model co-parenting relationship over the years.
Brady's Instagram post continued with a heartfelt message to his eldest child: "You are an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend amongst many other things. The love you give our family, and the fact that you still let me win in 1v1 every once in a while. Whatever you chase next we know you'll find success in. Be kind. Be yourself. And know your family and friends are always right behind you cheering the loudest because you do the same for everybody else! We love you."
The graduation photos also featured Brady's two younger children — Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13 — whom he shares with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. The blended family came together seamlessly for the occasion, with Moynahan and Bündchen reportedly maintaining a cordial relationship centered on the children.
Moynahan, 55, spoke in 2019 about the strength of their co-parenting dynamic, telling People magazine: "We both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child, but also loved our child as if he was their own. I don't think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love and grandparents that go on forever, and it's all good."
The reunion comes at a significant moment for the Brady family. The former NFL quarterback retired from professional football in 2023 after a legendary 23-season career, and has since focused on his business ventures, family life, and broadcasting role. Moynahan continues to act, recently appearing in several film and television projects.
For Jack, the future looks bright. With a supportive extended family that includes two devoted parents, step-parents, and siblings who clearly adore him, the newest graduate has a strong foundation as he steps into the next chapter of his life. The graduation celebration serves as a testament to the power of putting family first, even when relationships evolve.
